My goal is to run a 5k on my birthday which is August 21st. I've been doing the Couch to 5k plan and going to 'bootcamp' training at the gym I belong to. I should finish the Couch to 5k program the week before my birthday...this is a journal of my journey there.

It won't be too confusing for most, but the title of the blog is my goal...to run a 5K race by August 21st. That's my goal. August 21st is my birthday. Right now, I weigh 275 and am eating healthier and working out. I've also started the couch to 5K program. So far, I've went through week 1 and will start week 2 tonight. Also, I've enrolled in a bootcamp training at the Zone where I workout. Last night was the first night....and my legs are very sore.
